Community groups have traditionally held two major meetups in Magic Kingdom on Gay Days Saturday:

1 PM | Country Bear Jamboree | The entire audience fills with red t-shirt clad guests who whoop, stomp, and holler along with the most tuneful furballs in Frontierland.

You’ll see hetero moms wearing a rainbow flag pin, straight dudes in t-shirts that say “Straight but not Narrow,” and whole families decked out in matching t-shirts that say “Love is Love.” It’s inspiring.

No guests should feel pressured to respond or dress differently — the majority of Disney guests simply enjoy the parks like it’s any other day.

But angry stares, negative comments, or bullying are nearly unheard of.

Rather than a specific Pride event, this is a unique add on preceding the Disney Stars on Parade at 11 AM. You’ll see them glide down the main parade route; watch for your favorite Disney pals alongside Disneyland Paris Cast Members, with everyone decked-out in a ‘million splashes of color!‘

Note: this is different from what Paris hosted in 2019, 2022 and 2023, when Disneyland Paris hosted a separate ‘hard ticket’ Pride party with celebrity appearances and a live concert stage show.

Are there precautions with visiting Florida due to anti-LGBTQ legislation?

Over the last few years, many have witnessed the turmoil between Gov.

Ron DeSantis and Disney, as well as anti-LGTQ legislation passed in Florida. The GayDayS.com organizers have chosen June 5 – 8 for their events. These sister properties share a terrific central pool, spacious suites with kitchens / kitchenettes, a Target supermarket within walking distance, and heaps of great restaurants nearby.

But if you’re eager to mingle, you’re traveling solo or you’re just in town to party like it’s 1999, you can guarantee that the the pool parties (and dating apps) will be all aflutter with the twitterpated!

Should I stay in a Disney resort hotel during Gay Days?

If you’re a real Disney fan or you want to get the most out of the Disney experience, nothing beats staying in one of Disney’s own themed resort hotels.

You’re free to exit and re-enter the park if you need to, but keep in mind that the price of Disney parking is not included.

How do they know who has a ticket and who doesn’t?

At the entry gates, there’s an Event Check-In where Disney Cast Members will invite you to scan in the bar code that you’ll receive via e-mail when you buy your ticket.

In Orlando, Gay Days weekend is a combination of community-led events and privately hosted events. You won’t need to exit and re-enter.

Sunday, September 14 will be Gay Day at Disney's California Adventure with more in-park activities and at 11:00, the first ever Gay Days Drag Queen Bingo featuring Chico’s Angels star, Kay Sedia.

As the sun sets, we’ll close the weekend at 6:00 PM with another Drag Race champion, Lawrence Chaney in “Taking the Mickey”, straight from her UK tour, and then Gay Days favorite, Jackie Cox, in her new show “Nurse Jackie” at 8:00 PM.

Both days in the parks will feature gatherings only available over Gay Days weekend, including a scavenger hunt, a group photo, a lesbian ice cream social, group meet ups at varying attractions, and many more events targeted to families, teens, bears, couples and Mouseketeers of every ilk.

Nowadays, the stores remain well-stocked through the Gay Days weekend, into July and beyond. This year's events take place from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8.
