They are completely natural and seem effortless in every scene, word and gesture. Read allMartin seeks for a temporary job at Eugenio's house. And, as in "Plan B", their sexuality in some respects is incidental to the connection the men in both films form. The music is just as fantastic as the photography, locations, story and editing.

Clean, brilliant, a piece of film art

I was first introduced to Marco Berger with "Plan B", still one of my favorite films.

The "I want you but I want you to be the one who makes the move."

With this movie I can remember the sensations I went through while discovering what true attraction feels like. The wealthy Eugenio, who is gay, takes a liking to the attractive Martin and eventually provides him with clothes and a place to stay. a film about a meeting after long time, the search to reconquest the years of youth and the root of present dialog.

Those qualities by themselves make these films creative and interesting. Perhaps not for those who prefer fast-paced action movies, I found this movie to be very engaging, interesting and fulfilling.

Highly recommended.

for the wise manner to use each scene as seed of the other.

"Hawaii" makes the perfect addition to the collection of Marco Berger's offerings. When they recognize to be childhood friends, Eugenio offers him work for the summer. When they recognize to be childhood friends, Eugenio offers him work for the summer. See if I got my wish...

excellent

One of my favorite gay films ever.

for the special joy, high delicacy, science to use the detail in gentle manner. As they work together to restore Eugenio s summer home, a game of power and desire ensues forcing the two buddies to grapple with their sexual attraction and reconsider their relationship. They make a perfect film festival all by themselves.

"Hawaii" lays out the day to day interactions between Eugenio (played by the unconventionally handsome Manuel Vignau, "Bruno" from "Plan B") and Martín (played by Mateo Chiarino) that build a budding romance neither knows how to address.

for silence and words. The direction is amazing. Although it's very slow and the "music" is a little distracting at times, especially during the extended beginning sequence, this is an excellent Spanish-language gay-themed movie from Argentina.

The camera and director linger on small details and gestures, and create a very credible atmosphere and true tension and drama despite very little dialog.

I enjoyed this movie so much that I almost immediately watched it again.

A power and desire game starts and their relationship grows beyond their friendship.
